description: TRAINING: FIRST AID ON A 4X4 EXPEDITION Off-road means freedom, adventure, and adrenaline. But also responsibility - for yourself, for your team, and for the people you meet on the trail. During our trips, we are often far from civilization, with limited signal and extended response times for emergency services. In such conditions, your reaction can save someone's health or life. That's why we've prepared training that provides real skills - not classroom theory, but knowledge tailored to the conditions of 4x4 expeditions. WHO IS IT FOR? -for participants of our expeditions and rallies, -for people who drive off-road recreationally, -for drivers, co-drivers, and organizers, -for anyone who wants to be prepared for crisis situations. No experience required - we teach from the ground up. WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? The training covers key first aid topics in off-road conditions: -Legal and organizational basics (what you can and must do, responsibility of the first responder, personal and team safety). -Assessment of the injured person's condition (quick situation assessment, step-by-step action plan, recognizing life threats). -Calling for help (how to effectively call for help off-road, what to tell the dispatcher, locating without an address). -Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (practical exercises, adult vs. child, common mistakes). -Automated defibrillation (when to use, how an AED works, overcoming the barrier to use). -Recovery position (when and how to use it, common mistakes). -Choking (how to react immediately, various scenarios). -Emergencies in off-road (hemorrhages and their control, amputations and crush injuries, typical 4x4 injuries, actions until emergency services arrive). -First aid kit (what's worth having in the car, how to use equipment, expedition first aid kit configuration). TRAINING FORMAT: -practical sessions with limited theory, -realistic off-road scenarios, -hands-on work with equipment (AED, dressings, manikins), -simulations of expedition situations. WHY IS THIS TRAINING DIFFERENT? Because we don't teach from a textbook. We teach as it is in reality: mud, stress and time pressure, lack of signal, difficult access to the injured person, decisions that must be made immediately. OUR APPROACH: We don't make this a medical course. We provide training after which: you know what to do, you don't panic, you act effectively. PARTICIPANT COMFORT: Throughout the training, we provide: unlimited access to coffee and tea, and lunch during the training break, included in the event price. TRAINING INSTRUCTORS The training will be conducted by qualified paramedics from Life-Rescue, experienced in rescue operations and in conducting first aid training. The training program is based on current standards of practice and adapted to real-life situations that may be encountered during off-road expeditions and activities. Participants work under the guidance of practitioners who deal with life-threatening situations daily, which translates into concrete, useful skills, not just theoretical knowledge.
